Counselling provides a space for you to explore your emotions, thoughts, and behaviours with a therapist so you can find your own solutions to your problems in an environment that is compassionate and empathic.

Person-Centred Experiential Therapy (PCET)

PCET therapy is a therapy used by the NHS to treat depression. It uses Carl Rogers person-centered therapy and draws elements of Emotion-Focused therapy to help a client experience and express their emotions.

Trauma Focused Therapy

Trauma Focused Therapy combines evidence based techniques to help alleviate or manage symptoms of trauma and anxiety.

Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy.

EMDR therapy uses bilateral stimulation to process traumatic memories. Developed by Francine Shapiro in 1987 to treat trauma. Since then, EMDR has grown and is now used to treat a number of mental health issues.

Therapy Duration and Cost

Counselling and other therapies are 50 minutes per session at £55.

EMDR is £55 for 50 minutes and is recommended by NICE guidelines for 90 minutes at £90.
